RAINBOWS children’s charity is proud announce that we are once again participating in The Bank of America Chicago Marathon. This year’s Chicago Marathon takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2009. We would be most grateful if you would support RAINBOWS by participating on our RAINBOWS team. When you register on the Chicago Marathon site, please include RAINBOWS on your registration form. As a Contributing Charity we are not part of the drop down menu. However, there is a place on the form where you can name RAINBOWS as your charity of choice.

For 25 years, Rainbows, a non-profit children’s charity has sustained children and families in the wake of personal or community tragedies through group peer-support programs and services. Rainbows provides relief for those grieving a loss from a life-altering crisis such as death, divorce, incarceration of a family member, or a catastrophic community event.
